Cohort 14 opens March 2026

Executive Leadership Training that rewires how you decide

Most leadership programs hand you frameworks. Ours dismantles the mental models that keep you playing safe — then rebuilds them under pressure, alongside twelve peers who will not let you hide.

The five traps senior leaders fall into

You have likely attended a leadership program before. Here is why it did not stick — and why your organisation still struggles with the same issues twelve months later.

01

Consensus addiction

You have been rewarded for building alignment. But alignment can become a crutch that delays hard decisions and diffuses accountability across committees. High-performing leaders learn when to seek input and when to act alone.

02

Strategy theatre

Off-site retreats produce beautiful slide decks that never survive first contact with operational reality. We teach you to build strategy that is pressure-tested before it leaves the room, not after it fails in the field.

03

Feedback avoidance

The higher you climb, the less honest feedback you receive. Your direct reports filter bad news. Our program creates structured discomfort so you hear what your team actually thinks — and learn to act on it constructively.

04

Identity lock-in

You built your career on a particular set of strengths. But the competencies that earned your current title are rarely the ones needed for your next leap. We help you identify which parts of your leadership identity to keep and which to shed.

05

Isolation at the top

Senior leadership is lonely by design. You cannot share doubts with your board or your team without consequences. Our cohort model gives you a confidential peer group that persists long after the program ends.

Four phases, twelve weeks, one transformation

Every phase builds on the last. You cannot skip ahead, and you cannot coast. The cohort holds you accountable at every step.

Phase one — Diagnostic immersion

Before the cohort convenes, each participant completes a 360-degree behavioural audit, a cognitive-bias inventory, and a recorded decision simulation. We analyse the results to build your individual development map. This is not a personality quiz — it is a forensic look at how you actually lead under pressure, using data drawn from your real stakeholders.

Phase two — Disruption lab

A five-day residential intensive in Tasmania. You will face live case challenges drawn from real board crises — not sanitised Harvard cases. Faculty provoke, challenge and occasionally contradict you. The cohort debates, fractures and re-forms. By day three, most participants say this is the hardest professional experience of their career. By day five, they understand why it needed to be.

Phase three — Applied transfer

You return to your organisation with a specific 30-day leadership experiment. This is a real change initiative — not a hypothetical project. Your faculty advisor conducts fortnightly one-to-one sessions to troubleshoot implementation, and your cohort peers provide structured feedback via a private forum.

Phase four — Integration summit

The cohort reconvenes for a two-day closing summit. Each participant presents their experiment outcomes, receives peer review, and co-creates a mutual accountability charter for the twelve months ahead. Graduates join our alumni network of over 400 senior leaders across the Asia-Pacific region.

Numbers our graduates generated

Based on longitudinal tracking of cohorts 1–13, verified by independent researchers at the University of Tasmania School of Management.

0 per cent of graduates promoted within 18 months
0 point average increase in direct-report engagement scores
0 senior leaders trained since 2017
0 out of 10 — average participant satisfaction rating

Faculty who have led, not just lectured

Every facilitator has held a C-suite or board role. We do not employ career academics — we employ practitioners who also publish.

Before you apply

Who is this program designed for?
Senior executives with at least ten years of leadership experience who are preparing for a board role, a CEO appointment, or a significant scope expansion. We deliberately exclude mid-level managers — the cohort dynamic depends on participants facing similar strategic pressures.
How large is each cohort?
Twelve participants, never more. We cap the size to ensure every person receives meaningful faculty attention and genuine peer challenge. We also ensure industry diversity — no more than two participants from the same sector per cohort.
What is the time commitment?
Approximately 60 hours over twelve weeks. The residential intensive requires five consecutive days in Tasmania. The remaining time is distributed across diagnostic work, coaching sessions, peer forums and your applied leadership experiment. Most participants find the experiment integrates naturally into their existing workload.
Can my organisation sponsor my participation?
Yes. Around 70 per cent of participants are sponsored by their employer. We provide a detailed ROI brief and a post-program impact report that helps organisations quantify the return on their investment in executive development.
Is the program delivered online?
The diagnostic phase and applied transfer phase include virtual components, but the core residential intensive and the closing summit are in-person only. We believe the discomfort and spontaneity of face-to-face interaction are irreplaceable at the executive level.
